Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific discipline (e.g., ecology, biology, environmental science, or any earth science related field).
2 years experience with any or all of the following technical skills: • Ecology and management of California rare and endangered plants and wildlife species; • Ecology and management of rangelands, oak woodland, riparian and wetland habitats; • Conducting and/or coordinating state and federal threatened & endangered species studies for plants, including habitat assessments and protocol surveys; • Conducting and/or coordinating vegetation mapping; • Identification, ecology and management of non-native invasive plant species; • Conducting and coordinating wetlands identification or delineation studies and preparing associated reports for clients, such as wetland delineation reports, Clean Water Act permit applications, and mitigation plans; • Environmental impact assessment for biological resources; • Project experience with permitting for infrastructure projects such as linear power facilities, pipelines, water infrastructure, or transportation.
