Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Electrical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field with a focus on environmental engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on civil or electrical engineering projects, with specific experience in environmental engineering.
• Ability to perform financial cost analysis and revenue projections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to participate in a wide range of technical tasks.
• Excellent and oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to clearly communicate with client, field staff and contractors.
• Professional demeanor and team-oriented.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Must have the physical ability to negotiate work areas under construction or existing sites.
• Willingness to work on various assignments within the NJ area and provide a vehicle for transportation to work sites.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Candidate must obtain negative result on drug screen performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy.


Job Description:

In this assignment, candidate will manage aspects of environmental compliance, including waste management, on construction projects throughout NJ, related to a major electrical utility. Candidate will directly interact with multi-discipline teams within URS, individuals from various units within the client's organization and outside contractors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Attend project planning and kick-off meetings.
• Validate environmental checklists.
• Participate in monthly project update meetings.
• Develop project-specific environmental plans and oversee modification.
• Participate in Spill Prevention Plan development.
• Review operations performance.
• Perform financial cost and revenue projections.
• Obtain all project related information, such as proper names, accounting information, waste estimates, equipment cost and revenue estimates.
• Oversee Division specific URS labor invoice management.
• Participate in bid development for projects.

This position is part of a multi-disciplined team which provides a full range of environmental services to a major electrical utility. Position reports to a Senior Project/Program Manager or a Project Director.
