Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and at least 7 years of related experience is required. Additional related experience may substitute for education. Prior service as Marine Chief Warrant Officer (Arms Repair Officer) or Staff NCO (Ordnance Chief); with a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of 2171, 2181, 2120, or 2311 is preferred for this position. Excellent written communication skills; working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications; strong organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Progressive technical experience with end/line item equipment, components and parts management in life-cycle support of the acquisition and fielding of anti-armor weapon systems through a DAP. Position requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%. Job Description: URS is seeking senior-level Equipment Specialists to provide support to the Marine Corps Systems Command, Infantry Weapons Directorate, Product Group 13, Program Manager Anti-Armor Weapons (PM AAW), responsible for on-site Equipment Specialist and Life-Cycle Logistician support of developmental, production, and legacy anti-armor systems (Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-guided (TOW); Saber/ Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS); Shoulder-launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon (SMAW)/ SMAW II; and Javelin), and their munitions and enablers. Responsible for providing acquisition and sustainment support functions including, but not limited to cataloging, initial issue provisioning, drafting and staffing of technical documents (Maintenance Instructions (MI), Technical Instructions (TI), and Stock-list – 3 (SL-3), reviewing and editing Technical Manuals (TM), managing Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR) and Recommended Changes to Publications / Logistics - Maintenance Data Coding Sheets (NAVMC 10772), conducting failure analysis and developing / recommending repair or mitigation procedures, technically supporting acquisition and sustainment Integrated Product Teams (IPT), serving as a member of New Equipment Fielding teams, and providing daily technical support to the Fleet Marine Forces. Performance of this effort will be predominately at Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB), Albany, GA; and coordination with MCLB Barstow, CA. EOE M/F/D/V |
