Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma and some vocational/technical training and at least 5 years of related experience required. Prior service as Marine with experience as a 0411 (anti-armor systems) maintenance management specialist, and/or 3043 Supply Administration and Operations Specialist and/or 3051 Warehouse Clerk and/or 3052 Packaging Specialist in anti-armor weapons supply support is preferred for this position. Additional related experience may substitute for education.

Effective written and oral communication skills; working knowledge of inventory management and equipment fielding, word processing and integrated software applications; and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Progressive technical experience with warehousing and fielding end/line item equipment, components and parts management in life-cycle support of the acquisition and fielding of (individual and/or crew served and/or precision and sniper) weapon systems through a DAP.

This position requires the ability to obtain a license as a forklift driver to support warehousing operations. Position will require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Position will require ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Current clearance highly desired.


Job Description:

URS is seeking Warehouse Equipment Specialist(s) to provide support to the Marine Corps Systems Command, Infantry Weapons Directorate, Product Group 13, Program Manager Anti-Armor Weapons (PM AAW), responsible for on-site Warehouse Equipment Specialist support of developmental, production, and legacy anti-armor systems (Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-guided (TOW); Saber/ Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS); Shoulder-launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon (SMAW)/ SMAW II; and Javelin), and their munitions and enablers. Responsible for providing warehouse equipment specialist support and serving on the Life-Cycle Logistician / Equipment Specialist team on-site at Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany, GA. This support includes liaison with the Fleet Support Division (FSD) Albany and Barstow contractor(s) and assistance in general anti-armor weapon maintenance, modification, and repair; as well as preparing weapons and equipment for shipment, and / or long-term storage or disposal, as directed. Performance of this effort will be predominately at Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB), Albany, GA; and coordination with MCLB Barstow, CA.

The successful candidate(s) will provide the link between the Life-Cycle Logistician / Equipment Specialist team and FSD Albany and Barstow. Position requires understanding and utilizing military transport processes to include web-based tracking systems and approved DoD and USMC accountability systems and reporting methods. Responsibilities could include managing inventory, conducting incoming equipment inspections and condition code assignment, verifying receipt of shipments, and conducting and recording Limited Technical Inspections. Responsibilities could require shipping, receiving, kitting, distribution, fielding, preparing for storage / disposal and lifecycle support to include record keeping. Responsibilities could also include assisting Government fielding personnel in assuring accurate delivery to authorized units and reconciliation with supply personnel in equipment accountability. Position requires liaison with the PM AAW Logistics Management Specialist and Equipment Specialist, and Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) FSD and Distribution Management Center. Successful candidate must be able to provide accurate and timely support of warehousing operations and meet client schedules.

Position is contingent upon award of contract, with anticipated work start in second quarter of 2012.
