Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree in a related field and at least 4 years relevant experience is required. Additional related experience may substitute for education requirement. DoD acquisition program experience required, Marine Corps specific experience preferred. Experience with Marine Corps Anti Armor Weapons Systems (AAWS) acquisition programs highly desired. DAWIA Level II or equivalent in Logistics is highly desired. Excellent communication skills; working knowledge of MS Office Suite and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%.

Position will require ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Current clearance highly desired.


Job Description:

URS is seeking Acquisition Logistics Analysts to provide support to Marine Corps Systems Command, Infantry Weapons Directorate, Product Group 13, Program Manager Anti-Armor Weapons (PM AAW). The selected canidates will be responsible for providing and coordinating program acquisition, configuration management and logistics management, and providing planning and coordination support to PM AAW developmental, production, and legacy anti-armor systems (Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-guided (TOW); Saber/ Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS); Shoulder-launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon (SMAW)/ SMAW II; and Javelin), and their munitions and enablers. Duties will include planning and executing acquisition program logistics for fielded and developmental systems, sparing analyses, management of provisioning efforts, providing direct logistics support as required, and implementing logistics plans. Will plan and assist in efforts such as logistics analyses and trade studies; development of Integrated Logistics Support Plans, development of provisioning and training plans; development of technical manuals, and other tasks related to logistics support. Support activities and tasks in various logistics elements (ILS planning, maintenance planning, supply support, test and support equipment, packaging/ handling/ storage /transportation, personnel and training, facilities, data, computer resources, design interface) and support analyses, studies, problem identification and resolution, program planning and implementation. Prepare correspondence documents, and reports for assigned logistics systems.

Position is contingent upon award of contract, with anticipated work start in the second quater of 2012.
