Sediment Client Service Manager Careers - Chicago, IL

The challenge? Our Sediment Client Service Manager careers provide you with the opportunity to generate and deliver new business with selected clients. Business development responsibilities for this position include leading and/or contributing to the pursuit, capture, and management of sediment remediation projects to grow and cultivate our sediment deliveries. Each day, you will be the face of CH2M HILL as you lead the development and delivery of new projects to support our consulting work. As a Client Service Manager you will serve as the primary contact with several clients to ensure that CH2M HILL has a sustained relationship with the client, achieves complete client satisfaction with our work, and fully leverages our relationship to benefit both the client and the firm. You should be a self-motivated professional with 15 to 20 years demonstrated experience in sediment characterization and remediation, capable of demonstrating a history of expanding work areas with existing clients and growing new productive relationships, and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally.

Our Sediment Client Service Managers:

  • Sell a broad range of services to clients including developing strategies and proposals for sediment remediation markets
  • Manage the delivery of projects and ensure product quality, and on-schedule and on-budget completion
  • Work interactively with engineers, planners, and scientists on sediment projects in the U.S and Internationally.
  • Work directly with clients to understand and meet their expectations, leverage relationships with existing clients to expand our service offerings while continuing to grow new, productive relationships
  • Participate in contract negotiations, developing pricing strategies, and preparing proposals for submission to clients. With this position you will serve as a leader and mentor to junior and mid level staff working on your pursuits and projects
  • Lead and support development of environmental, health, and/or safety management plans
  • Develop internal relationships to support the overall growth and success of CH2M HILL's Environmental Services Business Group and steward client satisfaction

    CH2M HILL will not sponsor an employment visa (eg. H-1Bvisa, etc) to fill this position. Location is flexible within the U.S.

  • Basic Qualifications

    Possess a B.S. Degree (MS preferred) in Geology, Soil Science or related Engineering field and have a minimum of 15 years sediment and remediation experience, with a minimum of 5 years experience at the business development level

    Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
