Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a relevant discipline and 5+ years of experience in materials testing and inspection services. OR 10+ years of relevant experience in Material Testing and Inspection services. The position requires a strong project management and field supervisory experience and background in the same field. The position is based at Signet’s Hayward office and reports directly to the Northern California Regional Manager.
Qualities include the following;
• Good communication
• Well organized
• Contract management experience
• Strong technical knowledge of the construction process and materials testing and inspection

Job Description:

The Project Manager/Field Supervisor is expected to support the overall day to day operations of the business through the management of existing and new materials testing and inspection projects, providing technical and contractual assistance/support to clients and maintain client relations, coordinating assignments for inspectors which includes supervision of Field Inspectors, reviewing inspectors’ field reports and time sheets, and proactively engaging in the Company’s health and safety program.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Provide technical support for field staff and clients
• Manage project budgets and correspondence with clients
• Review and approve project invoicing
• Assist in project close-out
• Provide excellent customer service
