Minimum Requirements: 1. Bachelors degree in Geology Job Description: The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will manage and lead geologic/geotechnical field investigations and prepare technical reports. Work performed will involve conventional aspects of the engineering geology discipline. Experience should include logging of borings and test pits, down-hole logging, fault trenching, preparation of geological maps and cross-sections, and preparation of geological reports. The successful candidate may serve as Project Manager on routine or smaller projects and Task Manager on large (complex, multidisciplinary) projects. The successful candidate will assist in determining schedule and budget requirements, will effectively support the preparation of proposals, and will provides technical peer review for reports and other routine tasks and deliverables. The successful candidate will communicate and coordinate with clients and will oversee, mentor, and lead multiple junior staff in technical work. The successful candidate shall be capable of managing multiple projects (technically and financially) and handling multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. EOE M/F/D/V |
