POSITION SUMMARY As part of an overall strategy to address the most pressing environmental challenges of today, this important and exciting role calls for a talented and versatile professional with extensive experience using media relations to advance conservation, marketing, policy, fundraising and other important business objectives. The Media Relations Manager will play the lead role in developingintegrated media campaigns to raise The Nature Conservancy’s visibility in target California markets while building fruitful relationships with regional, state and national journalists, bloggers and opinion writers. The Media Relations Manager reports to the MRC Director in San Francisco, CA. The position does not directly manage staff, but will work across ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
