Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma.

3 years experience in heavy civil construction or equivalent field (a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field can be substituted for experience).

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite 2000).

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Must obtain negative result on drug screen performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy.

Job Description:

This is a field-based position which will require shift and weekend work.

Prepare shift reports.

Record and report all work performed, including deviations from approved work plans, contract documents, poor quality of work, unforeseen conditions, etc.

Interface with Senior Inspectors to maintain and track various logs, reports and field records for the designated area of responsibility.

Monitor the contractor's timely prosecution of work.

Perform safety and environmental surveillance.
