Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 10 years experience in the management of a Department or Office focused specifically on construction management of public works construction projects for vertical and horizontal infrastructure projects. Must be a Registered Pennsylvania Professional Civil Engineer (PE) or be a Certified Construction Manager (CCM). Experience with Local agencies is a requirement.

Must have proven experience in the successful management of staff in the delivery of infrastructure construction projects for Federal, Local and State Agencies. Responsible for managing and administering medium to large construction projects with both internal and external budget and schedule performance requirements. Must be able to act in a technical manner on various construction projects, and provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff in the delivery of projects. Must be able to assist with strategic planning for the office, support regional management in meeting URS financial and growth expectations, and be able to perform all required operational and sales roles required of the office leadership.

Must be able work collaboratively with both internal and external resources, and must provide leadership for the local office including training, mentoring, and growth of staff and the office. Must be able to effectively perform business development with clients, and assist with proposal efforts in winning new work. This person must be the leader and champion for safety and quality in the office and on all projects.

Must obtain a negative result on required drug screening. Must have a valid Driver's License.


Job Description:

This person will lead the office, meeting established operational and sales goals and metrics.

Marketing responsibilities include determining strategy, implementing marketing plans and leading Business Development efforts for the team. Responsible for leveraging URS capabilities and relationships to grow the business.

This person will be required to meet operational and growth goals established for the office to include winning new clients/projects, hiring new staff, mentoring junior staff, and enforcing URS policies and procedures.
