Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Requirements
• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited 4 year college or university and seeking a Bachelor's or Master's degree majoring in Construction Management or Civil Engineering with the intent to attend the subsequent term as a full-time student.
• Must have completed a minimum of 90 credits prior to the start of the internship and Junior class standing.
• Relocation benefits are not approved for this position.

Preferred Qualifications
• Preference given to those with previous internship experience with URS Corporation.
• Preference given to those attending one of the following URS EC focus schools:
o Boise State University
o Brigham Young University - Idaho
o Brigham Young University
o Colorado School of Mines
o Colorado State University
o Drexel University
o New Jersey Institute of Technology
o Pennsylvania State University

Job Description:

URS is seeking Project Controls Interns in our Houston office location. Candidates for these positions must have the aptitude, ability, and desire to learn the project controls business, and how it supports EPC heavy industry projects through the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective project controls planning & scheduling programs and cost control systems.

The successful candidates filling these positions may be sent to projects or offices at various locations within the United States.

Project Controls is an integral part of the Project Management Team and serves as a path to becoming a Project Manager.
