Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or demonstrated equivalent degree.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in all areas of human resources
• Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years experience in human resources management.
• Candidates must have previous experience working within the commercial nuclear power industry in an HR role.
• Candidates must be able to obtain full unescorted clearance to a nuclear site.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with each of the following areas: employee concerns, safety conscious work environment programs, human performance, continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required for this position.
• Travel is required for this position.
• Candidates must be willing to work on a temporary long term assignment at the Crystal River nuclear site in Florida.
• Candidates must be willing and available to travel regularly to other SGT nuclear sites as requested.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.


Job Description:

URS Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our nuclear power division.

Typical Responsibilities include:

• The position will oversee the HR function for our SGT project team and will require travel and temporary assignments at a nuclear site.
• The home base for the position will be in Charlotte, NC.
• The position will plan and manage nuclear project sites human resources strategies, programs and processes.
• The position will be responsible for providing oversight and implementing and refining human resources strategies, programs and processes within the respective project sites in order to ensure attainment of business goals and objectives, including, but not limited to employee concerns, safety conscious work environment programs, human performance, continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives.
• In addition, the Human Resources job family is responsible for providing support in the functional areas of Human Resources including compensation, benefits, staffing, employee relations, equal employment opportunity (EEO), employee development, labor relations, and related area while ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and related government regulations.
