CH2M HILL OMI Project Asset Manager - Rio Rancho, New Mexico The challenge? Provide a range of custom-tailored operations and maintenance solutions. As a Project Asset Manager you will plan and organize asset managment and capital assets management of one or more water and/or wastewater treatment plants and appurtenant facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze maintenance and activities and institute changes when necessary to achieve full compliance with O&MBG asset management and maintenance systems and all maintenance requirements as defined in the service contract with the client
- Oversee accuracy of maintenance records and take the lead in developing required reports and maintenance/repair recommendations
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with supervisors and subordinates
- Assist project managers with the planning and monitoring maintenance budgets to attain financial objectives
- Assist the project manager to establish and monitor objectives for subordinate salaried maintenance personnel and performance objectives for maintenance of facilities within his or her responsibility
- Maintain technical skills at the highest level and remain informed of the latest asset management developments
- Establish cooperative relationships with subordinates, vendors, contractors, and all others contacted during work assignments
Specific Responsibilities:
- Administer the project Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Responsible for the asset management technical support for one or more treatment plants and associated facilities
- Provide miscellaneous asset financial data and asset performance reports to Project Manager
- Inspect facilities, analyze and evaluate asset management functions, review records and data, initiate or recommends new or improved asset management methods or practices
- Develop plans and procedures to insure that facilities asset management activities meet the contract and budget requirements as an integrated system and all O&MBG maintenance systems are in place
- Recommend additions or improvements (Capital Improvement Plan – CIP) to the treatment facilities and analyze their cost effectiveness
- Prepare, review and approve maintenance reports and budget requests from subordinate department heads in conjunction with the project director
- Assist in the preparation of specifications for major equipment and material purchases
- Develop project repair and replacement justifications and schedules
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years experience in asset management
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and CMMS programs
- Knowledge of the methods, materials, equipment, and tools used in the construction, repair, and operation of engines, pumps, and other mechanical equipment related to O&MBG operations and procedures
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of an effective electrical mechanical, structural and grounds preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex asset controls issues
