Job Description:   
Essential Duties and Responsibilities    
Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance
Manager, this position provides administrative and general clerical support
functions in a wide array of office related tasks.   In addition to typing, filing, and coordinating
the successful completion of day-to-day office related tasks, this position
is directly responsible for the following duties: completing and processing
paperwork related to PTO and Emergency Leaves.   Is directly responsible for all duties
related to the completion and timely submission of weekly reports.   Maintains and reports strength
accountability for the Maintenance Department personnel on a daily
basis.   Compiles reports and summaries
of work; updates, checks and completes records, forms and documents.   Composes, formats and types routine
correspondence, reports and other job related documents.   Operates and maintains a variety of office
related equipment.   Is responsible for
inventorying, monitoring, and ordering office related supplies.   Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
Required    
High school graduate or equivalent
preferred; Civilian/military experience desirable.

Experience Required     
Two years of general office related
experience required.   

Specialized Knowledge Required    
General knowledge and use of office related
computer software packages (including Microsoft Word and Excel)
required.   Knowledge of basic filing
methods and procedures.   Ability to
prepare and maintain complex records and reports.

Skills Required    
Ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm.   Position requires strong interpersonal
skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.   Position continually requires demonstrated
poise, tact and diplomacy.

Work Environment and Physical Demands    
Ability to perform job duties efficiently
and effectively during an 84 hour work week.   May be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 30
pounds.   Must possess a valid US and
Military drivers license. The incumbent must be able to work in a fast-paced
environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple,
competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as
appropriate.
