Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor degree in logistics or a related field and at least 7 years of related experience required. Additional related experience may substitute for education. DAWIA level II certification, or equivalent, in logistics required; level III desired. Experience with acquisition and sustainment logistics support of USMC trainers, simulators, training aids/devices desired. Excellent communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.

Position may require travel.

Position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance. Current Clearance desired.


Job Description:

URS is seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide support for procuring and sustaining trainers, simulators, and training aids/devices for multiple USMC programs in Orlando, FL. Duties will include planning and executing acquisition program logistics for fielded systems and upgrades, sparing analyses, provisioning efforts, and implementing logistics plans. Responsibilities will be to plan and assist in efforts such as logistics analyses and trade studies; development of Life-Cycle Support Plans and all other acquisition logistics documents; development of training plans; development of technical manuals, and other tasks related to logistics support. Duties may include implementation of Performance Based Logistics and support of ILS planning, maintenance planning, supply support, test and support equipment, packaging/ handling/ storage /transportation, personnel and training, facilities, computer resources, and design interface. Preparation of correspondence documents and reports for assigned systems will be required.

Positions are contingent upon contract award, with work start April 2012
