Minimum Requirements: Bachelor degree in logistics or a related field and at least 4 years of related experience required. Additional related experience may substitute for education. DAWIA level II certification, or equivalent, in logistics desired. Experience with USMC trainers, simulators, training aids/devices desired. Excellent communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Job Description: URS is seeking Fielding/Training Logistics Analysts to provide support for trainers, simulators, and training aids/devices for multiple USMC programs in Orlando, FL. Duties will include planning and coordinating fielding events, participating in fielding events as part of a Material Fielding Team in order to field and provide new equipment training, assisting in the development and review of training materials, and training USMC personnel. Duties may include supporting fielding by researching and responding to issues from both acquisition communities and Operating Forces, maintaining accurate records for all fielding efforts, preparing correspondence documents, generating reports for assigned logistics systems from maintained records, and developing briefings. Duties may also include logistics documentation development (fielding plans, in service management plans, obsolescence), multi-disciplined logistics tasks and analysis in support of sustainment strategies, and interfacing with multiple levels of program management. Responsibilities will include analyzing, interpreting, developing, and briefing specialized information on equipment for use in life cycle management decisions; analyzing and documenting findings to formulate a better understanding of the USMC technical requirements, and identifying the actions needed to implement fielding and sustainment. Candidate must be able to perform expert-level review, analysis, and validation of engineering and logistics products. EOE M/F/D/V |
