Job Description: 

We are looking to hire a Project Manager to support work in the Albany office and upstate New York.

Candidate will serve as a task leader in the office and field, assisting project and program managers with the design and implementation of investigative and remediation programs, data analysis, and report preparation. Strong analytical and communications skills are a must. In addition to field work, the candidate will be responsible for work plans, reports, assisting management with proposal and project costing, and written/verbal interaction with regulators and clients.

 

Duties: 


Task leader in the field and office for activities such as:

 

·    Soil, soil gas, sediment, water, and groundwater investigation;

·    Compiling, evaluating, analyzing, and presenting engineering calculations and evaluations.

·    Preparation of work plans, reports, and other technical documents;

·    Presentation of work plans/findings to regulators/clients and response to their comments;

·    Development of cost estimates and proposals;

Develop sustainable and cost-effective site remediation strategies;

·    Design, implement, oversee O&M, monitoring, and optimize performance for a variety of water, wastewater, groundwater, and soil vapor treatment systems;

·    Soil excavation and insitu solidification design

·    Development of engineering plans and specifications

·    Coordination and oversight of subcontractors;

·    Some fieldwork, including some extended travel, where necessary

Qualifications:

 

·    BS in Environmental or Civil Engineering required, MS is a plus

·    8-12 years of applicable experience

·    OSHA 40 Hr Hazwoper

·    PE is a plus

·    Database, GIS, CAD, visualization software skills are desirable

·    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide supervision to junior staff

·    Able to interact effectively with internal and external clients. 

·    Strong oral and written communication skills required
