Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent and minimum of seven (7) years of experience working on U. S. Coast Guard (USCG), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Department of Defense (DoD) contracts in logistics or major system acquisition program management..
• Experience within USCG logistics centers and familiarization with product line organization is highly desirable. Operational support experience gained from assignment to field logistics billets may be appropriate. Experience with USCG Acquisition Directorate (CG-9) mission, staff, and business operations is a plus.
• Previous experience managing a high performing team providing professional support services to a product line, major acquisition program, managing personnel and Integrated Product Teams (IPT's).
• Ability to grow current business and development of new business is also highly desirable.
• Project Management Professional Certification and/or DAWIA/DHS Level III Logistics or Program Management certification, or equivalency, required.
• Prior presentation development and briefing skills.
• Must have excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of USCG programs desired.

We are seeking a USCG Project Manager to support the USCG Asset Project office in Baltimore, MD.
Essential Job Functions:
Supervise and manage program activities and provide support as the USCG transitions newly acquired material solutions into the operational environment. Support will require the use of multiple disciplines covering technical and/or non-technical areas. Such areas include maintenance and support planning, technical data, supply support and configuration management. Additionally:
1. Supervise, coach and lead work teams in the accomplishment of goals and tasks in support of specific programs.
2. Perform and supervise multi-disciplinary technical and/or non-technical tasks for applicable programs.
3. Interface with customers to determine specific needs and requirements.
4. Develop detailed staffing requirements, assignments and plans to meet customer needs.
5. Estimate personnel needs and schedule and assign work to meet completion dates.
6. Coordinate the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other personnel.
7. Perform management level customer interface, including responsibility for contractual deliverables, development of responses to the Requests for Quotes and overall task execution.
8. Develop required technical and management documentation in support of customer technical and programmatic reviews.
