Minimum Requirements:
This position will be located at the URS Red River Army Depot in Texarkana, TX.
High school graduate or equivalent. Must have at least five (5) years of Class A CDL level truck driving experience. Must have a current valid Class A CDL driver's license. Must be able to drive straight truck, under 1-1/2 tons; usually 4 wheels. Straight truck, 1-1/2 to 4 tons inclusive; usually 6 wheels. Straight truck over 4 tons; usually 10 wheels. Must have ability to meet physical demands and pass any related medical examination requirements required to perform daily assigned tasks.

Job Description:
The Heavy Equipment Operator operates heavy equipment such as, cranes, clamshells, power shovels, motor grades, heavy loaders, carryalls, bulldozers, rollers, scrapers, and large industrial tractors with pan or scaper attachments.
Equipment is used to excavate, load, or move dirt, gravel or other materials. Operator may read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plans, and may grease, adjust and make emergency repairs to equipment.
