AECOM’s Marquette, Michigan office currently seeking a dynamic and talented Municipal Civil Engineer to join their team of professionals.
General Duties:
As the successful candidate, you will have a strong understanding of the municipal engineering environment, and provide leadership at both the design and project management levels on municipal infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, water mains, sewers and pump stations. An understanding of asset management principles as they relate to municipalities is also important. You bring an innovative and analytical approach to providing solutions, and a desire to work collaboratively as part of a highly skilled team.
Specific Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 10 years of municipal engineering and/or land development engineering experience
- A Michigan licensed P.E.
- Experience administering contracts, controlling budgets, designing various infrastructure components, and conducting technical reviews
- Proven team management and client relationship/building skills
- Familiarity with agency/regulatory approval processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (in English) with demonstrated ability to effectively convey engineering and construction concepts in written, graphic and verbal forms to clients, staff and public. |
