Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum 10 years of experience in related field. • Registered PE in Pennsylvania or able to obtain a license within 3 months. • Established relationships and knowledge of the Philadelphia Aviation market. • Excellent communication, efficient, interpersonal and organization skills required. • Proficient business development, marketing, and sales skills. • Understands and implements compliance with URS' Policy and Procedures. • Ability to manage and or direct other managers in the use of project schedules. • Prior experience with financial metrics and staffing decisions. • Ability to obtain URS PM Certification within 6 months of hire. • Microsoft Office 2010 experience. • Tracks financial performance of specific projects, assist in the monitoring of staff sold time and work backlog. • Prepare project communications and financial documents. • Provide direction to the team leaders to ensure the financial reporting, administrative requirements, and project controls are attained. • Manages multiple priorities, both internal and client driven. • Provides leadership, mentorships, training and directing to staff in the sections. • Responsible for compliance within corporate financial control policies. • This position will be responsible for the Profit and Loss of the specific aviation clients and to include daily successful operations of all aspects of the group, such as customer interface, development of operating and growth plans and necessary staffing. This position will be responsible for both client management and the development of local aviation practice. The goal is to develop an aviation practice office capable of providing all professional services necessary for Landside Terminal and Airside design.
This will be an Aviation Client Manager position responsible for a wide range of work, developing relationships with Philadelphia Airport (PHL) and the city DOA.
Responsibilities Include:
Business Development activities, including planning, scheduling, client relations, marketing, proposal preparation and presentations. Maintains professional relations and contacts with clients, peers and competitors. Presents and explains proposals, repots, and findings to clients. Consults or negotiates with clients to prepare project specifications.
This position will report directly to the Regional Aviation Department Manager.
