Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and at least 8 years of job related experience. Additional related experience may substitute for education. Experience with USMC trainers, simulators, training aids/devices desired. Marine Corps specific experience preferred. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation required. Experience in review and development of performance-based Statements of Work, basic uniform contracts, and procurement of commercial items for the Government is required. Selected candidate must be able to develop base documents with little guidance start to finish. Excellent communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Job Description: URS is seeking a Contracts Analyst to provide support for acquisition of trainers, simulators, and training aids/devices for multiple USMC programs in Orlando, FL. In support of the Government team, the Contracts Analyst will aid in developing drafts and reviewing Statements of Work, contracts, and sole source justifications & authorizations, will provide cost analysis, and will track status and resolve issues. Requires working with both Government and contractor personnel to understand technical requirements to ensure documents are accurate. EOE M/F/D/V |
