Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience working on electrical construction projects, with knowledge of hardware and environmental issues related to these projects.
Knowledgeable in the basic requirements for environmental compliance in New Jersey.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Willingness to participate in a wide range of technical tasks.
Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to clearly communicate with client, field staff and contractors.
Professional demeanor and team-oriented.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking stills.
Willingness to work in various offices within the NJ area and provide a vehicle for transportation to work sites.
Valid Driver's License.
Candidate must obtain negative result on drug screen performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy.


Job Description:

In this assignment, candidate will manage aspects of environmental compliance, including waste management on construction projects throughout NJ, related to a major electrical utility. Candidate will directly interact with multi-discipline teams within URS, individuals from various units within the client's organization and outside contractors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Receive service calls from client Project Managers and collect detailed information on the project and on the services requested, such as names, waste types and quantity estimates, etc.
Distribute collected project information to relevant URS project staff.
Attend project planning meetings/calls (including site visits) as needed for oversight, evaluation, and assistance with planning Project operational support.
Attend daily scheduling call to review completed activities and to provide information on upcoming activities and schedule.
Periodically visit project work sites to observe, review and evaluate work activities.
Attend project planning and kick-off meetings.
Participate in monthly project update meetings.

This position is part of a multi-disciplined team which provides a full range of environmental services to a major electrical utility. Position reports to a Senior Project Manager.
