o Certified Public Accountant o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience o Minimum 12 years of work experience, including 6 or more years of management experience o Understands the requirements for SEC financial filings and is experienced in their preparation o Experienced in maintaining compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SoX) o Experienced in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements and in dealing with DCMA and DCAA o Familiarity with cost allocation principles o Big 4 (or predecessor) accounting firm experience Job Description: Responsibilities:
• Management of the following Corporate departments: o Financial Reporting, including: • Corporate general ledger and department accounting • Corporate payroll • Quarterly and year-end external financial reporting, including SEC financial filings on Forms 10-Q and 10-K and XBRL equivalents and earnings press release • Coordination with independent auditors, including assuring successful divisional audit coordination • Allocations of certain corporate costs to Divisions • Coordination and drafting of responses to selected draft accounting and audit standards pronouncements • Coordination and drafting of responses to SEC comment letters and/or inquiries • Oversight of corporate internal controls including design and compliance. • Modifications and improvements to financial reporting systems • Ad hoc financial analysis as requested
o Financial Compliance (SoX compliance), including • Management and oversight of the Financial Compliance department’s annual activities which involve: • Planning • Testing • Remediation • Auditor coordination • Finalization • Conclusion • Reporting
o FAR Compliance, including • Oversight of the activities of the Director of FAR Compliance • Participation with the FAR Compliance departments in developing and managing relationships with: • CACO • DCMA • DCAA • Participation and involvement as needed in specific compliance, costing and audit issues arise in support of FAR compliance activities at all levels of the company
o Montgomery Insurance Company, a captive insurance subsidiary, including: • Management and oversight of the financial and compliance activities of the captive, including: • The accounting, reporting and allocation of costs • The actuarial evaluation of insurance reserves • The establishment of premiums • Reporting on financial incidents and results • Planning and budgeting MIC financial activities • Participating as a member of the MIC management committee
o Financial Planning and Analysis • Management and oversight of the Financial Planning and Analysis Department’s activities including: • Coordination of the Financial Planning process for the company and consolidation of the Plan • Preparation of the annual corporate administrative cost budget and monitoring and reporting of the financial results • Internal financial reporting for management • Completion and filing of Commerce Department surveys • Preparation of financial reports and analysis for the Board of Directors • Ad hoc financial analysis as requested
o IT Controller function, including: • Management of IT department controller, including • Planning and budgeting • Project cost tracking •Allocation of costs to the Divisions
• Other duties as directed
