Position Overview:

The Counter Supervisor works closely with the Associate Team Leader, Team Leader and team to ensure smooth operation of the Prepared Foods counter. The Supervisor will assist the Team Leader in personnel issues and with supervision of team. Maintains a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient Customer Service. Supports Team Leader, Regional Coordinator, and store leadership while maintaining regional standards.



Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Will Do:
1. Provide excellent customer service.
2. Work a variety of shifts on the counter.
3. Record attendance and tardiness. Communicate with Shift Mangers re: attendance issues or concerns.
4. Proper maintenance of temperature log.
5. Determine break schedule and ensure all necessary breaks are given.
6. Monitor the team to ensure all TMs are compliant with appropriate dress code.
7. Communicate with ATL and Team Leader re: concerns within department.
8. Delegate cleaning tasks.
9. Report all safety hazards to Team Leader, Associate Team Leader or store leadership.
10. Ensure all sanitation requirements are consistently met.
11. Oversee the quality of dishes in hot and cold case and alert appropriate Team Members when there is a problem or when supplies are running low.
12. Check for accuracy of signs and prices.
13. Assist in training as delegated by Team Leader.
14. Assist with flow of transfer and waste paperwork.
15. Be aware of customer flow and needs; direct Team Members as necessary for ultimate customer service.
16. Perform other tasks as assigned by Team Leader and store management.

Must Have/Be:
1. 1-2 years Counter experienced preferred.
2. Passion and appreciation for good food.
3. Ability to perform physical requirements of position.
4. Practice proper use of knives, slicer, trash compactor, baler (must be 18 years of age or older) and all other equipment used during food preparation and clean up.
5. Clear and effective communicator.
6. Patient and enjoys working with people
7. Ability to monitor Team Members.
8. Ability to work well with others as a team.
