Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge with PBX front desk phone console. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and other windows software. Person should have effective listening and communication skills.


Job Description:

Greet and direct visitors. Operate PBX telephone system to route incoming calls. Process incoming/outgoing postal and courier packages. Other responsibilities are mailroom, storage supplies, reproduction, break room and other ad-hoc administrative duties.

• Greets, identifies, and directs visitors, employment applicants, salesmen, and vendors to appropriate locations and parties.
• May operate PBX telephone console to route incoming calls and place outgoing local and long distance calls.
• Directs caller to destination and may record name, time of call, nature of business, and person called upon.
• Maintains visitors records
• Maintain and update information on the office directory, telephone extensions, and office assignments.
• Arranges for escort of visitors and vendors as appropriate.
• Process the receipt and sending of postal and courier packages.
• Responsible for mail room functions of the office including the collection and distribution of mail and messages.
• Issue visitor's pass when required.
• Perform variety of ad-hoc administrative and clerical duties and other duties pertinent to type of establishment.
• Collect and distribute mail and messages.
