Minimum Requirements: Graduation from a 4-year college with a degree in engineering, construction management, accounting, finance or related fields. Hands on professional experience may be substituted for college education. Job Description: Function as Owner’s Representative for a major K-12 public education system in the Inland Empire. Manage several mid-to-large size capital improvement modernization, expansion and new construction projects from the bidding phase through completion. Manage general contractors’ performance and/or construction managers on the projects. Interact with architects, engineers, inspectors and all other consultants involved in the construction projects. Interact with school sites principals and staff frequently and as needed. Develop and manage project budgets. Review, approve or recommend for approval all items related to the requirements of the projects from schedules, progress reports, request for information, change order request. Perform all other tasks required of the proper management of public school projects. EOE M/F/D/V |
