Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Power Systems (not Electronics)

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with an A/E or Engineering firm.

Must be a licensed PE in Ohio or the ability to obtain with reciprocity.

Must have good working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and CSI Specifications.

Good presentation skills and the ability to interface and communicate knowledgeably with clients.

Must have working knowledge of AutoCad and Microsoft Office suite of software

Must have the ability to travel as needed

Must have a valid drivers license

Job Description:

Great opportunity for a self-starting Sr. Engineer to design electrical power and lighting systems for large commercial, educational, and health care facilities.

Responsibilities will include:

Performing lighting, power, and short circuit calculations using AutoCad and other industry specific software.

Verifying that applicable codes and engineering standards are being met.

Resolving issues or problems concerning conflicting design requirements, specifications or difficult coordination requirements.

Directing designers and engineers in preparation of design documents and other deliverables.

Interacting regularly with clients to resolve issues and consult regarding engineering matters.
