Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field; or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.
4 years of New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYC DDC )experience as a Construction Community Liaison on NYC Street Reconstruction, Water Main and Sewer Installation, and or Sidewalk and Pedestrian Ramp construction projects.
Thorough knowledge of New York City Department of Design and Construction Infrastructure protocols and procedures regarding Construction Community Liaison.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2000 computer programs.
Well organized and strong leadership skills in dealing with local commercial businesses, local residents, Local Community Boards, Civic Organizations, etc.
Valid Driver's License.
Must obtain negative result on drug screen performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy.
Job Description:
This position will report directly to the respective assigned Resident Engineer.
The successful candidate needs to perform the following work tasks but not limited to:
Coordinates with local commercial businesses, residents, Community Boards, Civic Organizations regarding project.
Logs and tracks all Community Complaints and issues.
Prepares Project Status Newsletters, etc.
Any other functions when called upon by the client.
