Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in physical science, landscape architecture, English. 10 years of consulting industry experience, including at least 2 years in Arizona; a Master's Degree may be substituted for one year of experience. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience managing a team or group of environmental analysts/planners/scientists. Requires strong leadership skills in the area of development of and mentorship of staff, effective communication, team-building and staff retention.

Requires the ability to write technical analyses for environmental impact statements, preform independent technical reviews of impact analyses, prepare budgets, scopes, and schedules for proposals and projects.

Must be proficient with MS Word and comfortable using MS Excel, MS Project and MS PowerPoint. This position requires effective time-management, written communication skills, analytical and interpersonal Skills. The successful candidate will be articulate with a professional presence, with solid decision-making, planning and organizational skills. Will manage and balance workload of staff for efficient project completion.

This position will report to the Environmental Planning Department Manager; the Group Leader will supervise senior planning and project management staff, as well as manage projects. This position will communicate with senior staff and assign mentors for junior and mid level staff. Track workload to balance the needs of various PM's/projects. Efficient management of complex NEPA projects--providing direction to a diverse team; client interaction and business developments.
