Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering is required and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the mining or mining service industry.

Big-picture thinker with the ability to develop a market-intelligence justified business strategy and tactical plan for growth and development in the mining industry. Additionally, the position requires technical knowledge and expertise in the project lifecycle from front-end engineering/environmental studies to detail engineering and construction management, as well as operational support for on-going mining operations including closure planning and design. Job Description: The Vice President will serve as the Business Line Director (BLD) and a senior leader with direct responsibility for the sales and transformational growth and stewardship of ongoing service delivery to the Mining industry.
The BLD is responsible for articulating the vision and goals for the Mining business line and developing an annual Market Outlook and Strategic Business Development Plan drawing on both internal and external sources of market intelligence. The BLD will report to the Executive Vice President, Infrastructure & Environment.
The BLD will provide comprehensive leadership, operational oversight, strategic vision, business development management, and market representation in leading the sales and sustainable revenue of the business unit. The BLD will focus on expanding our services with our MSA clients and adding on new MSA clients. The successful candidate should understand and have credible experience in the areas of mining engineering, construction, operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on program and project management. He/she must also have detailed, relevant experience of project delivery in the international EPC market – projects, companies and competitors. The candidate should possess a strategic and commercial mindset as it relates to the EPCM markets with strong client relationships.
A Key responsibility of the BLD will be to develop and execute strategies to achieve annual budgets, and performance metrics including new sales exceeding $400 Million annually, with accompanying year-over-year growth of ~15% revenue with appropriate profit margin and risk profile.
This is an opportunity to take on the leadership of our dynamic Global Mining program and be responsible for developing our Mining operations and program development both domestically and abroad. The position will lead the effort to define mining growth strategies, and align the operations of multiple regions under a common plan.
