CH2M HILL Machine Design Careers - Cincinnati, Ohio
The challenge? Help provide technical and application support to an engineering design team. Our Machine Designer jobs provide you with an opportunity to work on state of the art industrial manufacturing and pharmaceutical facilities. Each day you will perform the routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principals. You should be a self-motivated professional with over 10 years of experience, and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each new machine design job.

Our Machine Designers:

Participate in weekly Machine Design SES Area and issue meeting notes
Assist in the design execution process for the respective SES area
Provide input to the Machine Design Action Items List the respective SES area
Coordinate their efforts in GDS for the Functional Location Codes they have responsibly for and verify that the designs are inputted and structured properly
Ensure their work meets the budget effort hour input for the design execution for the SES that they are working in
Assist in tracking the weekly progress and effort hours for their respective SES area and report it to the Machine Design Group Leaders
Participate in Design Reviews as required for Functional Location Codes that they are working in
Assist in the development of the Vendor Procurement Packages for their FLC's
Provide Vendor Design Interpretation support for FLC's
Assist in the development of Vendor Inspection Plans for their FLC's
Assist in the development of the FAT's for their respective SES equipment
Assist in the development of the EI's for their respective SES equipment
Provide Design Interpretation Support for construction as required
Verify the completeness of Project Closeout Documentation for their SES area

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of machine layout and design for industrial or pharmaceutical facilities
Associates degree
Excellent AutoCAD user

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

Degree Required

Associates or 2 Year Degree

Preferred Years of Experience
