Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required,
Ability to manage large projects that involve staff that are not direct reports and are in other functional roles.
Manage functional staff.

Job Description:

URS is looking for a Manager of Government Compliance to join our team. This position will report to our Germantown, MD office. This role will have direct interface to the Division Director, VP Finance, and other senior management.

This position will be responsible for the administration and implementation of company-wide compliance programs for the Federal Services division based on approved Company Policies and Procedures and adhering to Federal and State compliance requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Support the full life cycle of the Forward Pricing Proposal (FPRP) for the Division. This includes the development of the FPRP, presentation to Senior Management, presentation to DCMA, audit by DCAA, and negotiations.

2. Support and lead the development of the Incurred Cost Submission. This role will also be responsible as a direct interface to DCAA during the audit of the legacy rate year Incurred Cost Submissions.

3. Development and submission of CASB-Disclosure Statement. Will also be responsible as a direct interface to DCAA during the audit of the Disclosure Statement.

4. Conduct internal audits at FS locations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and federal and state requirements.

5. Support FAR Compliance with the various Business System reviews conducted by DCAA and DCMA.

6. Provide subject matter expertise to company on FAR and CAS issues.

7. Direct interface with DCAA and DCMA on various audit programs.

8. Assist and provide subject matter expertise to management in implementing programs and accounting changes to improve business processes and operational effectiveness.
