Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

College graduate degree in business or accounting related field OR demonstrated equivalent experience and abilities. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

The qualified candidate must be able to learn Enterprise One financial reporting retrieval and be familiar with Word and Excel. Must be detail-oriented and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy Group, be detailed oriented, responsive to client and project managers’ needs, and able to manage priorities. Must be able to learn various State underground storage tank reimbursement program requirements to aid in preparation of reimbursement claims, and to learn accounting and authorization systems used by major petroleum companies.

Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant/ Financial Assistant will support the Geo Environmental and Remediation Services Group.

Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing Work Authorization Forms
- Entering information into client financial and data retrieval systems
- Working to prepare reimbursement claims to various state agencies
-Working with Project Managers to aid in budget tracking, invoicing and coordinating with billers to invoice and track payments in a timely manner.

Position will require being in the Germantown, MD, office to work with Project Managers and other administrative support personnel. Position will require candidate to begin and complete the URS Program Assistant training.
