Minimum Requirements: Ten years of experience as a construction manager on highly technical building projects. Degreed in construction management, engineering or architecture. Able to read and understand construction schedules. Ability to work with spreadsheets and data bases. Excellent communication skills required. Job Description: Provide construction management oversite of a $25 million court facility as the owners representative. Must manage the project engineer/ assistant PM and an administrative assistant. Condidate must lead and record weekly progess meetings with the contractor, designers and inspectors. The construction management team will be required to review and comment on submittals and RFIs. They must review and approve the contractor's schedule and updates. The construction manager will be required to effectively negotiate and recommend settlement of all change order requests. In addition to direct staff, the construction manger coordinate the Owner's quality control inspectors and the Architect's commissioning agent. EOE M/F/D/V |
