Job Description: 
I. Job Summary



II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.


  • Develops and implements a Telecenter Sales operating plan, consistent with the accomplishment of long range established objectives which will enhance operating unit effectiveness and delineate responsibilities and authority.

  • Directs the activities of one or more Sales Representatives.

  • Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction on all sales transactions.

  • Reviews and evaluates the operating unit performance on a continuing basis and establishes proper measures of performance. Ensures team members meet or exceed sales call activity goals for new sales, lead generation and contact productivity.

  • Counsels managers as to execution of programs, and when necessary provides direction for modification in work plans or implementation of contingency plans in accordance with prevailing business conditions.

  • Forecasts and recruits qualified candidates for available and/or upgraded Sales Team positions.

  • Develops and executes ongoing training that provides both formal training and informal coaching sessions to all Sales Representatives. Encourages feedback and is available to answer questions, provide direction and/or offer assistance when needed. Updates all Sales Representative reference material as appropriate.

  • Communicates and maintains the Market Area's pricing and service strategies.

  • Directs the accurate maintenance of customer records for all customer interactions. This includes prospect data, contracts, orders and service machine documentation.

  • Develops and implements strategies to up‑sell and cross‑sell to customers via outbound calls. Communicates goals to Sales Representatives.


III. Supervisory Responsibilities

The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of managerial employees. This includes:





  • Direct supervision of 9 full-time employees.

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.


A. Education and Experience


Required: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration or similar area of study, and ten or more years sales experience.



Preferred: Master's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration or similar area of study, and ten or more years sales experience.


B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements


None required.


C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required


This position is eligible to participate in sales compensation and recognition programs upon successful completion of training prerequisites and Market Area management approval.
