To further support our Western Region Building Engineering Services we seek an Electrical Engineer with lighting design expertise in our Orange, California office. This team member should be well versed in the art and science of lighting design, and must be able to support aesthetically pleasing designs with technically competent analysis. As an experienced designer and engineer we are looking for this team member to interface regularly and effectively with clients, contractors, building officials and other team members, both local and remote. Additional requirement include, but are not limited to, assisting team members with proposal presentation, consulting with internal and external clients, and leading teams as a project manager. Job Requirements: B.S. in Electrical Engineering in an ABET accredited program. LC Designation Preferred PE Preferred 8+ years experience with a consulting engineering firm designing lighting systems for buildings and campuses Travel as required to meet training and project requirements. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience using Outlook and Microsoft Office (or similar software). Working knowledge of AGI and/or Visual Pro, and Title 24 including related calculations Familiarity with Revit 2012, AutoCAD, IES and ASHRAE 90.1.
