CH2M HILL Project Manager Job - St Louis, MO

Our Senior Roadway Engineer/Project Manager jobs provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects. Each day, you will have the opportunity to utilize your transportation planning and roadway design expertise to lead transportation-related projects.
This position will allow you to use your technical experience, manage projects and mentor and direct junior.
You should be a self-motivated professional with 15-20 years of related experience along with a Bachelor of Science Degree in either Civil Engineering or Planning. Dependent on the candidate, either registration as a PE in the state of Missouri is required (or the ability to become registered within three months) or certification with AICP . Prior experience on MoDOT, IDOT or local agency project desired. This position also requires a technical design background in at least one of the following areas: transportation and/or urban planning, highway drainage, highway design, traffic engineering, as well as familiarity with AASHTO and MUTCD standards.
Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design Software (MicroStation and GeoPak) is a plus. Our ideal candidate has strong written and oral communication skills as well as a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each senior engineering job.

Our Senior Roadway Design Engineers/Project Managers:

Perform engineering and/or planning tasks for transportation projects
Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing transportation projects
May coordinate design activities and meetings between staff, subcontractors, and CH2M HILL Lead and support safety plan
Coordinate the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety and organization of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance
Identify schedule and cost variances and develops and implement recommendations for corrective action
Help grow the Project Manager resources of the firm through the coaching of others and participating in the development and delivery of learning events Interact with CH2M HILL project teams and client program level directors
Complete tasks within schedule and budget with teams comprised of different disciplines Have strong written and oral communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Planning
15-20 years of related experience
PE in the state of Missouri is required (or the ability to become registered within three months) or certification with AICP
This position also requires a technical design background in at least one of the following areas: transportation and/or urban planning, highway drainage, highway design, traffic engineering, as well as familiarity with AASHTO and MUTCD standards

Preferred Qualifications
