Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in technical writing.
At least one year of defense technical writing experience obtained within the last 5 years is strongly preferred.

The individual shall apply knowledge and experience in technical writing definition and capabilities.

We are now seeking a Technical Writer for our Beavercreek, Ohio office.

The individual shall provide technical writing expertise in authoring, editing, and reviewing acquisition and technical documentation.

Plan, design, write, edit, proofread and finalize documents, technical manuals, orders, specifications, modification work orders, and test plans, procedures and results.

Essential Responsibilities:

Interfaces with technical professionals in the writing, editing, and publication of various types of documents such as specifications, manuals, reports, plans, training material and presentations.
Researches a variety of assigned topics and develop writing plans and outlines.
Assists in the development of supporting materials (illustrations, tables, etc.).
Tracks and monitors flow of all documents from inception to distribution of final copies. Identifies and correct problem areas as they arise.
Provides quality assurance check for all document deliverables. .
Provides technical writing/editing support to other Company contracts when workloads permit.
Establishes and maintain electronic and/or hardcopy data library of documents and work order files for documents received for processing.
Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
