Job Description:  We are seeking a Financial Analyst to play an important role in the Corporate Operational Finance department of a global Fortune 500 company.  The position has high visibility to senior management and provides an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into a range of strategic CFO-level priorities.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:


  • Prepare and maintain complex financial models
  • Research and analyze financial statement data
  • Perform forecasting and analysis
  • Market research
  • Develop reports for key strategic initiatives
  • Perform ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses and research assignments
  • Present key insights and recommendations to management team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications


  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data, including financial statements, key financial ratios, valuation models and techniques
  • Solid business acumen and ability to convey complex concepts
  • Experience involving extensive work with complex spreadsheets and use of databases for analyzing financial data
  • Persistence and a strong task orientation balanced with excellent teamwork, listening skills and diplomacy
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Outstanding oral communication, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop structure and processes
  • Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • High proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint; Access proficiency preferred
Education


  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) and 4-6 years related experience in finance, investment banking, consulting or strategic planning. MBA or CPA preferred.
