Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an ABET accredited 4 year college or university and seeking a Bachelor's degree majoring in Occupational, Safety & Health Risk Management, Safety Engineering, Environmental Sciences or Industrial Engineering with the intent to attend the subsequent term as a full-time student. • Must have completed Junior year and a minimum of 90 credit hours prior to the start of the internship. • Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States.
Preferred Requirements:

Position Description:
Under general supervision, performs routine safety and health duties following defined policies and procedures. Monitors compliance with the ES&H standards along with federal and state regulatory requirements. Assists in making observations for hazards and at-risk behaviors. Works with others to investigate accidents, injuries and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace. Participates in recommending improvement in processes, design, procedures and equipment to minimize hazards. May perform some data entry and develop reports. May be involved in limited training.
