Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational/technical training beyond high school.

Must have a minimum of 10 years of job-related experience on US Naval Submarines.

Configuration Data Manager Database Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) experience highly desired

Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Extensive travel is required.

Job Description:

URS is a premier provider of engineering and technical services to the government and commercial customers. One of the many services URS provides is logistics support services to numerous DOD agencies with focus on development of integrated logistics chains to ensure readiness and rapid response.

URS is actively seeking a Logistics Specialist to support our efforts in Hampton Roads on the customer site (SPAWAR) at St. Julian's Creek in Portsmouth Virginia.

The successful candidate will:
*Develop logistics products in support of Electronic Equipment modernizations onboard US Naval Submarines.
*Provide onboard Logistical support, to include updating of OMMNS-NG and R-Supply
*Assist in the development of Logistical Support Documentation
*Develop and submit Configuration Management Documentation
*Be able to perform all tasks with minimal supervision
*Perform inventory management, cataloging, warehouse management, material coordination, data entry, and property control in support of various supply activities and/or equipment installations.
*May assist technicians with equipment installations.
*Develop, execute, maintain reviews and comment on logistics support plans, policies, procedures and similar data.
*Recommend improvements to enhance the process.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
