Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Business or related field
• Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a cost analysis-related occupation.

Experience must include:
• Developing, implementing and maintaining effective cost control programs;
• Using drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data;
• Scope control and change management;
• Scheduling process concepts and principles;
• Performance management and cost/schedule integration concepts and principles.

Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Job Description:

URS Corporation is seeking a Cost Analyst to be based in our Cleveland, Ohio location.

URS Energy & Construction, Inc. is looking for Cost Analysts to be responsible for all project cost control activities in support of engineering, materials management construction, start up and operations. Plan, cost and schedule (work breakdown structure) metrics and tools, collect performance data (installed quantities, expended labor hours and other progress measurements for direct hire and subcontract work), track data (daily cost compilation and monitoring), analyze (earned value, productivity and risk analysis, and report. Identify and track all changes or potential changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management. Integrate cost and schedule data and reporting with the company's accounting and management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and financial goals. May be involved in change control management and critical path method network analysis. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
