Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
Internship experience under the supervision of a licensed landscape architect.
Familiar with Florida plants, ecosystems, soils and climate.
Proficiency using computer software programs, including AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, GIS, Microsoft Office 2010 suite (power point, xcel, word).
Experience and proficiency preparing hand drawn graphics, illustrations and artist renderings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to produce hand drawings and graphic illustrations.
Proficient in the use of a wide variety of computer software programs used in design and project production.

The Infrastructure and Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Entry Level Landscape Architect for immediate full time employment in the Tampa, Florida office. The Entry Level Landscape Architect will perform entry level tasks under the direction of the Landscape Architecture Group Manager and will work collaboratively with the Landscape Architecture Group members and other multi-disciplinary office staff. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other landscape architecture group members within a multi-disciplinary office setting, preparing planning documents, graphic designs and conceptual designs, construction documents, technical specifications and cost estimates for a wide variety of public sector planning and infrastructure projects.
Incumbent Responsibilities:
• Works under the direction of and reports to the Landscape Architecture Group Manager.
• Supports landscape architecture group in development and completion of multi-disciplinary public sector projects.
• Works effectively with other landscape architecture group members to prepare project documents and assist in production of client deliverables.
• Produces landscape architectural concepts using a wide variety of software programs, hand drawn graphics and illustrations.
• Produces construction documents, technical specifications and construction cost estimates.
• Prepares graphical drawing and rendering displays for public hearings and presentations.
• Performs field reviews of project sites and study areas, prepares written summary of observations.
• Performs inventory and analysis of existing and proposed conditions for project sites and study areas.
• Performs construction administration with oversight by senior landscape architects.
