Job Description: 

I. Summary:



Coordinates and conducts programs to train employees within a geographic region regarding the deployment, standardization and sustainment of Waste Management Maintenance processes and policies by performing the following duties:



II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.



Confers with management and staff or Fleet Training Manager o determine training objectives.



May assist in reviewing Fleet training programs, including outlines, text, handouts, job aids, evaluations, designs and/or hands-on exercises.



Schedules classes based on classroom and equipment availability.



Conducts training and/or facilitates classes on safety, installation, programming and setup of diagnostic equipment, maintenance, repair of machinery and equipment, WM shop processes, and equipment inspections. The content to be delivered will include but not limited to policies, processes, and methods that will be defined and documented by the responsible functional organizations.



Utilize WM training methodologies while conducting training, including making appropriate adjustments to meet the needs of the class.



Demonstrates procedures being taught, such as inspection and repair.





Observes trainees and answers trainees' questions.



Administers written and practical exams. Writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance.



Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information useful to training facility and integrates information into training program.



III. Education and/or Experience -


Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university;


3 to 5 years training experience;


or equivalent combination of education and experience
