AECOM is hiring a Structural Engineer I to support our office in New York.
This position requires a minimum Bachelor in Civil Engineering. The candidate should have a solid knowledge of geotechnical engineering, rock mechanics, rock mass classification methods such as the Q-system and RMR and analysis and design of steel and concrete structures. Additionally hands on knowledge of continuum and discontinuum numerical modeling techniques of underground openings is essential. The candidate should be familiar with ACI, AISC and ASCE codes. The ability to work in a team or independently along with proven verbal and written communication skills is expected.
