Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Advanced business school/secretarial/administrative assistant or office training preferred. • 3+ years of secretarial/office administration experience, to include performing research/queries to gather and generate reports independently, and experience working with confidential assignments and company proprietary material. • Must have strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and communicate effectively with all levels of management and site support personnel. • Must have demonstrated advanced skills with MS Office, specifically, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Must also possess extensive familiarity with Adobe Professional and database/query skills. • Previous experience working at the SPRU site or with URS Corporation is preferred. • Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen.

Job Description: URS Corporation is seeking a Project Support Executive Assistant to be based in our Niskayuna, NY location.
Typical Responsibilities:
Provides secretarial and clerical support to the SPRU Project Support department by relieving managers of basic administrative and office duties. Assignments may involve work of a confidential nature and requires a basic knowledge of the policies, practices and procedures associated with contract and project management activities including management of business sensitive and proprietary information, personally identifiable information, development of Requests for Equitable Adjustments, baseline development and management, accounting / finance, IT, HR and Records.
• Under limited supervision, provides routine administrative support for the SPRU Project Support department. • Researches and obtains information for organization and management of routine reports and special assignments. • Compiles and analyzes data, and prepares reports for action/use by management. • Possesses strong organizational skills and a broad working knowledge of SPRU business administration activities including Project Support policies, procedures and processes. • May provide guidance and work leadership to lower level clerical or secretarial staff. • Assembles and analyzes information, prepares reports, agendas and memoranda. • Prepares answers to routine mail and inquiries. • Receives incoming telephone calls and handles inquiries, takes messages, and transfers calls to appropriate party. • Maintains organization of files, keeps records, prepares schedules, makes travel arrangements, compiles reports, and processes documents of a routine nature. • Prepares and processes expense reports. • Prepares and proofreads correspondence, reports, and other material. • Participates in planning and development of reports and statistical table layouts. • May perform special projects that pertain to departmental goals as directed by supervisor.
