CH2M HILL Summer Internships - Engineering Procurement Intern - Anchorage, AK

The challenge? Provide safe, sustainable energy solutions for our clients and communities worldwide. Our Summer Intern-Engineering Procurement job will expose you to a variety of technical and business energy functions with ever-increasing levels of complexity. You will receive a well-rounded, “real world" experience while participating in diverse and interesting energy safety projects to develop your skills. You should be self motivated and responsible individual that is seeking a motivated and responsible individual seeking a career in Procurement.

Our Summer Interns:

Are in process of obtaining an Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business or related field such as Construction Management or Pre-Law
Manage his/her own quality of work, meet deadlines and adhere to assignment scope of work
Possess a positive attitude and are dependable and punctual
Always present himself/herself in a professional manner to managers, co-workers and our clients
Engage in entry-level procurement activities under close supervision
May assist with the generation and filing of procurement instruments
May interface with Procurement systems
May create or maintain simple databases and/or spreadsheets
May interface with suppliers and subcontractors
Assist Procurement personnel as requested.

Additional Information:

This position is part of a community outreach program
Preference will be given members of an Alaska native corporation
Please indicate on your resume or cover letter if you are a member of an Alaska native corporation and if so, indicate the name of the corporation

Basic Qualifications

In process of obtaining Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business or related field such as Construction Management or Pre-Law desirable
Applicants pursuing their Bachelor's degree must have attained Junior standing by September, 2012
GPA minimum (accumulative): 2.90 (out of 4.0)
