Minimum Requirements: This Safety Specialist position requires minimum 3 years of industrial experience, conducting occupational safety specialist services at numerous facilities. Your experience in the chemical, construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, commercial and public sectors is a benefit. Very strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing safety compliance is required. Selected candidate will join our team of safety specialists, and become an integral part of the region's safety development program. Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering is required. Asbestos, Lead, and/or OSHA 40 Hr certificates recommended. Job Description: The position involves the ability to respond to a wide range of safety responsibilities, including: Industrial Hygiene, Audits, Safety Oversight, Exposure Monitoring, Compliance, and development of safety systems . Limited travel is likely, within the NE, and may include long term assignments (approx. 6 months). Must have a flexible schedule. Must have excellent communication skills, for internal and external client meetings. Must have experience in remediation projects. Prior consulting experience is required. EOE M/F/D/V |
